Pretty..Small stray cat , 3-4 months old.

 

Presented to our clinic Pets Haven Veterinary Clinic in Dubai with fracture of neck of femur of the back left leg.

 

In this case the solution was removing the head of the femur from the acetabular fossa and trimming the sharp corners of the femur, which might posed a mechanical risk that could have caused damage to the surrounding soft tissues, and leaving the condition for a period of time to allow the muscles to grow strong and to be able to bring the broken bone closer to the pelvic area and thus the cat will be able to walk better even without the original acetabular joint..

 

Pretty after 48 hours from the surgery started to walk without stepping on her broken leg, but after 2 weeks she started to step better on her leg.
